Data collection guidelines


Data from sumbitted comment forms are collected. IP adresses and browser user agent character strings are collected to help filter out spam.

Anonymous hash data is collected from email adresses to determine if the user is currently using the Gravatar service and stated dated may be shared with Gravatar. Please check their privacy policy here: Comment text and profiles pictures will be made public upon comment approval.


After leaving a comment, users may opt-in to hace their name, email address, and site address saved as cookies. Cookies allow users to skip entering details the next time they leave a comment. Cookies are saved for 1 year.

A cookies are temproarily collected when an account holder logs in to determine if the browser in use will allow cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal information and will be deleted up closing the browser.

Cookies are collected after login to save login details and the screen display. The login and screen display cookie is saved for 1 year. If the “save login status” cookie is selected, login information is saved for 2 weeks. The login cookie is deleted upon logging out.
