Torikata Estate & Garden
The Torikata Estate dates back over 400 years as the home of the Hanaoka village leaders. A Kyoto style garden fills out 8,000㎡ estate grounds that was added by Dr. Torikata Riuso.
A pupil of one of the most famous gardeners in Kyoto designed the estate gardens and utilized the best materials from around the country. Some of the highlights include a 1-meter kuruma-ishi stone entrance step. Kyoto style buildings are spread throughout the grounds.
